Ranges

Ranges are selections made with the Range tool (or by typing "r" in the editor window). A range can span multiple tracks and regions, and can also contain parts of regions.

Ranges can be

• looped,
• bounced to new regions in the region list with or without processing (i.e. applying plugins and automation),
• consolidated (i.e. they will be converted into a single region per track that is then automatically inserted into the track's playlist, replacing the old material).
• used to copy and paste multiple regions and parts of regions at once
