Images and Transparency

Daisy seems to have problems with exporting transparent images to PDF. If transparency is not necessary for you image (this should apply for most simple screenshots), make sure it does not have an alpha channel. In Gimp there is an option Layer -> Transparency -> Remove Alpha Channel in the context menu.

Screen resolution when taking screenshots?

I did not test that, but I imagine that the size of screenshots depends on screen resolution. Scaling up too much could result in minor quality.
Is there a consensus about the screen resolution to use, or doesn´t it matter? (I´m asking because I go for a mountain trip tomorrow and will take
my Eee netbook with me. Maybe I could do some work on it?)

Avoid mistakes

I discovered that many people confusea Middle-Click and Right-Click. Paul's official statement is:  on X11/Linux, 1-2-3 by default = left-middle-right.

Terminology with tracks/busses

A quick talk with Paul reveiled aonce again that there are no "mono tracks" or "stereo busses". A track/bus is characterized by the number of inputs and the number of outputs, which can be totally different numbers. So a track/bus does not have any number of channels, and we should avoid to write sentences like "You can only add a stereo plugin to a stereo bus." or similar.
